Foundations

“Thoughts become things…choose the good ones!”

– Mike Dooley

Every project starts with a good foundation and our lives are no different. Foundations builds upon the excellent work our partners have begun during the early years of these children’s lives and expands upon it.

Foundations is based in part on the New York Times bestselling book Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams by Mike Dooley. Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Changing Your Life outlines the universal principles that enable every person to thrive instead of simply survive. The Foundation works with our partner organizations conducting classes which develop life skills and mindsets allowing the participants to be successful at whatever endeavor they envision.

We introduce the participants to this program in their freshman year of high school and provide mentoring and support through their freshman year of college.

Foundations provides necessary life skills training and other tools to ensure a path to success for orphaned and abandoned children between the ages of 14-18 in foster care anywhere within the Appalachian Region.

Foundations is open to all children under the care of our partner organizations.

Foundations is based in part on the Infinite Possibilities program from Mike Dooley and has been specifically tailored for orphaned and abandoned children who are aging out of public and private foster care systems.

Foundations is funded by private donations, the Foundations endowment fund, and revenues generated from our corporate training program.
